Job Description
- Coordinate the procurement, inventory, and sterilization of implantable medical devices before scheduled surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare professionals to ensure correct implant selection and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of implant usage, batch numbers, and regulatory compliance for audits and reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the hospital, suppliers, and vendors for implant-related logistics.
- Monitor expiration dates, safety standards, and device recalls to maintain patient safety.
- Assist in pre-operative planning and provide intraoperative support for implant positioning and setup.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control practices, and healthcare regulatory guidelines.
