A Prosthodontic Technician specializes in designing and creating dental prostheses, such as dentures, crowns, and bridges. Job Description
- Fabricate dental prostheses including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants based on dental impressions.
- Collaborate with prosthodontists and other dental professionals to ensure accurate fitting and patient satisfaction.
- Use various tools and materials such as wax, acrylics, ceramics, and metal alloys to construct dental appliances.
- Maintain and operate dental laboratory equipment with proper hygiene and safety standards.
- Modify and repair existing dental prostheses as per patient or dentist feedback.
- Ensure precision, aesthetics, and functionality in all dental prosthetic work.
- Stay updated with new techniques, dental materials, and lab technologies for quality improvement.
