Job Description

  3. Provide infection control and prevention guidance in hospital and community settings.
  4. Consult on immunocompromised patients, including those with cancer, transplant recipients, or primary immune deficiencies.
  5. Advise on vaccination schedules, especially in special cases like international travel, premature infants, or chronic illness.
  6. Interpret specialized lab tests, such as cultures, PCR, and serologies, to guide treatment.
  7. Collaborate with pediatricians and subspecialists, often in multidisciplinary teams, for comprehensive infection management.
