Job Description
  1. Diagnose and treat hormonal disorders in children, including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal issues, and puberty-related conditions.
  2. Manage pediatric diabetes, especially Type 1, with insulin therapy, education, and glucose monitoring.
  3. Monitor growth and development, using hormone testing and imaging to identify abnormalities.
  4. Provide long-term care and follow-up, often supporting patients with chronic conditions from childhood through adolescence.
  5. Collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists, such as nutritionists, geneticists, or psychologists, for multidisciplinary care.
  6. Educate families and patients about treatment plans, lifestyle adjustments, and medication adherence.
  7. Participate in research or teaching, especially in academic medical centers, contributing to advancements in pediatric endocrine care.
