Job Description
- Monitor and manage the health of newborns in the NICU, including premature and high-risk infants.
- Perform essential procedures like intubation, resuscitation, umbilical catheterization, and ventilation support.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, and nursing staff for comprehensive neonatal care.
- Provide timely medical updates and emotional support to families regarding the infant’s condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of clinical interventions.
- Participate in academic activities such as clinical discussions, seminars, and training of junior doctors.
- Stay updated with current practices and advances in neonatal medicine and apply evidence-based care.
