Job Description
- Assess and treat physical discomforts related to pregnancy such as pelvic pain, backache, and joint instability.
- Design personalized exercise programs to support safe prenatal and postnatal physical activity.
- Provide education on body mechanics, posture correction, and breathing techniques to prepare for labor.
- Assist in pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation to prevent or treat incontinence and improve core strength.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor maternal physical recovery post-delivery and guide safe return to normal activity levels.
- Educate patients on lifestyle adjustments, ergonomics, and preventive physiotherapy practices.
