Job Description
- Assess and treat patients suffering from cardiopulmonary disorders such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, and post-cardiac surgery cases.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to enhance respiratory function and cardiovascular endurance.
- Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on breathing techniques, lifestyle changes, and home-based exercises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic care.
- Operate and maintain physiotherapy equipment such as spirometers, incentive spirometers, and oxygen delivery systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to research or audits aimed at improving clinical outcomes.
