Job Description
- Examine, diagnose, and treat disorders related to the gastrointestinal tract and digestive system.
- Perform endoscopic procedures like colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and upper GI endoscopy.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, biopsy results, and lab tests to guide treatment plans.
- Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and primary care physicians for integrated patient care.
- Monitor and manage chronic GI conditions such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and GERD.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, dietary recommendations, and medication adherence.
- Maintain accurate medical records and stay updated on the latest gastroenterological advancements.
