Job Description
- Conduct non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures on pediatric patients to capture images of the heart and blood flow.
- Assist cardiologists in diagnosing congenital and acquired heart conditions by providing high-quality echocardiographic data.
- Operate and maintain specialized ultrasound equipment, ensuring accurate settings and image quality.
- Prepare and position young patients with care, often needing to calm or entertain them during the scan.
- Review patient history and document findings accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, cardiologists, and nurses to discuss test results and further care plans.
- Stay updated with advancements in pediatric echocardiography techniques and equipment.
