Job Description
- Research and document word meanings, pronunciations, etymologies, and grammatical behaviour using linguistic data and corpora.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate dictionary definitions for new and existing entries.
- Analyze trends in language usage to identify emerging words and evolving meanings.
- Collaborate with editors, linguists, and software developers to produce print and digital dictionary products.
- Ensure consistency and clarity across dictionary entries and adhere to editorial guidelines and house style.
