Job Description
- Design and manage the curriculum for residents and fellows in HPB interventional radiology, ensuring alignment with national and institutional standards.
- Supervise clinical training and procedural competency, guiding trainees through complex HPB interventions such as tumor ablations, biliary drainage, and portal vein embolization.
- Lead faculty recruitment and development, ensuring qualified educators and mentors are available to support trainee learning.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements (e.g., ACGME or equivalent), maintaining high standards in education, documentation, and assessment.
- Foster research and academic growth, encouraging scholarly activity in HPB IR innovations, education methods, and clinical outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, working with radiology, surgery, hepatology, and oncology to deliver a multidisciplinary training experience.
