An HPB Interventional Radiologist is a medical specialist who uses imaging techniques to perform minimally invasive procedures on the liver, pancreas, biliary system, and surrounding structures. These procedures are often alternatives to surgery and are critical for diagnosing and treating cancers, infections, blockages, and complications in HPB organs.

Job Description
- Perform image-guided procedures such as liver tumor ablation, biliary drainage, stent placement, and pancreatic cyst drainage.
- Use advanced imaging modalities like CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to guide interventions with precision.
- Treat complex HPB conditions, including liver metastases, cholangiocarcinoma, bile duct strictures, and post-surgical complications.
- Collaborate closely with HPB surgeons, hepatologists, and oncologists in multidisciplinary care teams.
- Manage and monitor post-procedure recovery, including addressing complications and follow-up imaging.
- Contribute to protocol development and research in advanced interventional techniques and HPB disease management.
