Job Description
- Review and verify chemotherapy and supportive care medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Prepare and dispense cytotoxic drugs following stringent safety and handling protocols.
- Provide counselling to patients and caregivers on cancer medications, side effect management, and adherence.
- Monitor treatment responses and collaborate with the oncology team to adjust therapy when necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advancements in oncology pharmacotherapy.
