Job Description
- Conduct and oversee pharmacological research and clinical trials to evaluate drug efficacy and safety
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students in the pharmacology department
- Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and presentations on pharmacology topics to medical students and healthcare professionals
- Develop and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for pharmacological studies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, pharmacists, and researchers, to integrate pharmacological insights into clinical practice
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmacology and incorporate relevant findings into teaching and research
- Assist in the development and approval of new medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning and policy formulation
- Manage laboratory operations, including budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of pharmacological equipment and supplies
