Job Description
- Supervise the dispensing of prescribed medications in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare institutions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of pharmaceutical supplies and ensure timely restocking.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to review prescriptions and avoid errors in drug administration.
- Ensure that all dispensing activities comply with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Train and guide junior staff on standard operating procedures related to dispensing and documentation.
- Manage storage conditions, expiry checks, and waste disposal of medical supplies.
- Generate regular reports on drug usage, procurement needs, and dispensing trends for management review.
