Overview
An Ayurvedic Clinical Assistant works closely with Ayurvedic practitioners to support patient care and treatment procedures. They assist in preparing herbal medications, maintaining patient records, and guiding individuals through therapy sessions. This role is rooted in the traditional Indian system of medicine and focuses on natural healing. The assistant also plays a part in managing wellness programs and monitoring the patient’s progress. It is a healthcare-centric role requiring both technical and interpersonal skills.

Job Description
- Assist Ayurvedic doctors in patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Prepare and dispense herbal medicines, oils, and decoctions as prescribed.
- Help in conducting Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic therapies under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the therapy room and instruments.
- Keep accurate patient records and update clinical documentation regularly.
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, diet, and holistic wellness practices.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy and report any concerns to the practitioner.
