Job Description
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, operating rooms, and other hospital areas to maintain a sterile environment
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste following hospital protocols and safety regulations
- Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and other necessary items in restrooms and patient areas
- Assist in setting up rooms for new admissions, including making beds and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests to address spills, contamination, and other urgent cleaning needs
- Maintain cleaning carts and ensure they are stocked with the required supplies and equipment
