Job Description
- Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures such as plasma exchange, red cell exchange, and leukapheresis as prescribed.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate apheresis equipment and monitor patients throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to assess patient eligibility and ensure appropriate clinical care.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, equipment checks, and patient responses.
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure sterility of all devices used during procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about the apheresis process, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care.
- Assist in emergency therapeutic procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices.
