Job Description
- Conduct microbiological testing and analyze samples to detect infectious organisms affecting community health.
- Collaborate with clinical researchers and data scientists to interpret laboratory data for disease trends and outbreak prediction.
- Manage and evaluate datasets to support research on antimicrobial resistance, vaccine efficacy, or pathogen transmission.
- Develop and validate laboratory protocols in line with public health standards and biosafety regulations.
- Provide technical input in designing public health studies and writing scientific reports or publications.
- Use statistical tools and software to model disease data and generate evidence-based health insights.
- Liaise with governmental health agencies to support timely response to infectious disease threats.
