Job Description
- Perform laboratory analyses to detect and identify pathogenic microorganisms in clinical specimens.
- Interpret microbiological test results to assist clinicians in diagnosing infectious diseases and selecting appropriate therapies.
- Monitor trends in antimicrobial resistance and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship programs.
- Collaborate with infection control teams to prevent hospital-acquired infections and outbreaks.
- Engage in research and development of new diagnostic methods, vaccines, and antimicrobial agents.
