Overview

A Panchkarma Therapist specializes in ancient Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation therapies aimed at balancing the body’s bio-energies (doshas). These therapies involve procedures such as Abhyanga (oil massage), Virechana (purging), Basti (medicated enema), and Nasya (nasal administration). In healthcare, Panchkarma is increasingly recognized for its role in detoxification, chronic disease management, and stress relief. The therapist works under an Ayurvedic physician’s guidance and tailors treatments based on patient diagnosis. Their hands-on work supports both preventive and restorative health care through natural methods.
