Diploma in Herbalism

Covers safe identification, preparation, and use of medicinal herbs.  Covers botany, phytotherapy, tincture formulation, contraindications, and herb–drug interactions. Strong emphasis on herbal formulations and working with the client. Some programs will include herb cultivation on a small scale, foraging, and other elements of managing a small herbal/naturopathic practice where appropriate.  Intended as preparation for naturopathy or practice of complementary medicine, the Formulation will include an herbal phytotherapy focus.
