Job Description
  1. Collect, prepare, and examine blood samples for analysis under the supervision of a pathologist or medical technologist.
  2. Perform routine and specialized hematological tests including complete blood counts, differential counts, and coagulation profiles.
  3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and automated analyzers.
  4. Record and report test results accurately, ensuring quality control and adherence to laboratory standards.
  5. Follow all laboratory safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure patient and staff safety.
  6. Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies and prepare reagents as required.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and patient care planning.
