Job Description
- Analyze bodily fluids and tissues to detect the presence of toxins, drugs, or chemicals.
- Collaborate with forensic pathologists, law enforcement, and legal teams in criminal and civil cases.
- Prepare detailed toxicological reports that are admissible in court as expert evidence.
- Interpret laboratory findings and explain the effects of substances on human health and behavior.
- Use advanced analytical tools and instrumentation like GC-MS, LC-MS, and immunoassays.
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and safety standards in toxicological investigations.
- Participate in case reviews, autopsies, and provide expert witness testimony when required.
