Job Description
- Perform medico-legal autopsies to determine cause and manner of death in cases of homicide, suicide, or accidental death.
- Examine and interpret injury patterns, weapon-related trauma, and wound characteristics in both deceased and living individuals.
- Prepare detailed medico-legal reports, postmortem certificates, and forensic opinions for legal use.
- Provide expert evidence in judicial proceedings based on forensic findings, often as a key witness in criminal cases.
- Work closely with police, forensic labs, and judiciary during investigations of death and assault cases.
