Overview

A study principally revolving around fertility, reproductive cycles, and sexual health is an extensive master's course. Students deal with both the physiology of male and female reproduction and their pathologies and therapy. The syllabus covers endocrinology, gametogenesis, contraception, and reproductive immunology. The training integrates theoretical modules and practicals on hormone assays, cell culture, and diagnostic testing. A research thesis is to be prepared on one of the topics, such as infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, or reproductive ageing. The attainable clinical exposure, through partnerships with hospitals and research centres. Ethics, communications, and counselling concerning reproductive health are highlighted throughout. Graduates will have acquired the analytical tools necessary to support research, education, and public health. The course also develops skills for leadership in the laboratory, as well as for teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration. Upon completion, students will enter into clinical laboratories, teaching fellowships, or doctoral programs.
