Overview
The FRCS Thoracic Surgery is a postgraduate qualification awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK and Ireland for fellowship status in thoracic surgery following completion of MRCS, several years of specialist training, and success in rigorous intercollegiate exams such as the FRCS(CTh) who manage conditions of the lungs, esophagus, airway, chest wall, mediastinum, and diaphragm, performing complex procedures including lobectomy, VATS, decortication, and esophagectomy.
