Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) is a Pharmacotherapy Specialty Certification Examination program provided by Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) in United States. It is an academic credential certificate which validate that the pharmacist has the advanced knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to optimize the safety and efficacy of healthcare outcomes. The syllabus includes safe, appropriate and economical use of medications in a variety of practice settings, with emphasis on direct patient care and optimization of medication therapy.
