Overview
The Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) program is a credential certification, offered by the Brain Injury Association of America. It is designed for nursing or healthcare professionals who work with patients with brain injuries. Professionals who have a degree in a healthcare field and at least 500 hours of work experience with brain injury patients are eligible for this certification. The professionals will also need to pass a certification exam.
