Overview
The Vascular Nursing fellowship prepares rejecter nurses to care the patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders. Nurses learn through this course different topics like Vascular assessment, wound care, compression therapy, and anticoagulation monitoring. Advanced dressing techniques, interdisciplinary care planning, and the fundamentals of ultrasound are all covered in the training. During their rotation, fellows visit hospitals, wound centers, and vascular clinics. They develop abilities in quality improvement, research participation, and patient education. A focus is placed on patient advocacy, cultural sensitivity, and ethical issues. Graduate nurses are prepared for positions in chronic wound care, vascular access management, or vascular teams. Leadership and clinical expertise are improved by the fellowship.
