Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (FINSA)

The Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (FINSA) is being awarded by Indian National Science Academy through nominations. Every nominee should be proposed and recommended by a certificate in writing signed by two Fellows, where at least one fellow shall certify from personal knowledge of the scientific attainments of the candidates.

A Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (FINSA) is an honored member elected based on significant scientific accomplishments and contributions to national and global research. The fellowship is granted through a nomination process, where each candidate must be proposed and recommended by two existing Fellows of INSA.

To be elected as a FINSA Fellow, the nominee must:

• Have made outstanding contributions to scientific research.
• Possess a strong academic and research background.
• Be nominated and recommended by two existing INSA Fellows.

The fellowship is a lifetime honor, and once elected, individuals remain recognized as Fellows throughout their professional life.

There are no fees associated with the nomination or election process. The fellowship is purely merit-based and honorary.
