Diploma in Osteopathic Medicine

The Diploma in Osteopathic Medicine educates practitioners to develop a manual energy approach towards health. Teaching of OMT, helps students acquire specific skills to diagnose and treat somatic dysfunctions, to promote structural balance, to facilitate physiologic function and to improve the body’s own potential for self-healing. Topics included in the program of study are biomechanics, myofascial release, cranial techniques, visceral manipulation, and patient-centered assessment. Balancing both theory and practical work, students are well-equipped to diagnose structural imbalances and administer gentle therapy to promote better health.
