Clinical Data Management Course

This program prepares students to collect, manage, and analyse clinical trial data to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Modules on structured database locking procedures, data entry activities, validation checks, discrepancies and CRF design modules exist. Training is inclusive of data standards like CDISC, introduction to SQL basics, and understanding of various CDMS tools like Oracle Clinical, REDCap, and Medidata Rave. Internships at CROs or in pharmaceutical companies provide exposure to real-life database implementation. Data governance, audit trails, quality assurance, and regulatory guidelines (ICH/GCP) have all been covered in the curriculum. The students brush through metadata management. Risk-based monitoring is highlighted in the course curriculum along with integrity, accuracy, and securing data through various channels.
