The NEET PG 2024 counseling process has 820 new PG medical seats across All India Quota (AIQ), deemed universities, Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and diploma courses. DNB programs witnessed the largest increase of 494 seats, including 103 in general medicine, 65 in orthopedics, and 48 in general surgery. These changes, released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on November 9, 2024, will benefit more postgraduate medical students.
