India’s First Non-Invasive Heart Surgery for Dog in Delhi

A seven-year-old beagle named Juliet successfully underwent India's first minimally non-invasive heart surgery for dogs at Max PetZ Hospital in Delhi. The pet dog had been suffering from Mitral valve disease which led to congestive heart failure. Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma and his team, noted this surgery as the second worldwide and first in Asia among private practitioners to perform this procedure, conducted the surgery.
