Delhi Records Highest Ever 49.9 Degrees Celsius Temperature

On Tuesday, May 28, Delhi marked its highest recorded temperature as the mercury soared to a record-breaking 49.9 degrees Celsius in areas like Mungeshpur, Narela, and Najafgarh. This extreme heatwave, with temperatures nearly reaching 50 degrees Celsius at several weather stations, is nine degrees above the normal for this time of year. The city's official weather station at Safdarjung recorded a slightly lower yet significant temperature of 45.8 degrees Celsius.
